243: Olympics?

Olympics? Interesting. Haven't had that in a while. At least in my time, we don't.

What's the point? Bunch of countries send their top athletes somewhere to compete with each other? Big show of brotherhood? Get real. No such thing as brotherhood.

Life is a competition. Life is a contest. You start thinking you can trust someone not to stab you in the back for their own gain, that's pretty much the exact moment they screw you over.

The Olympics is pretty much a farce. Everybody pretending to get along while wanting to stab each other's eyes out. Playing like they can be friends when they really have nothing but contempt for each other.

Am I a cynical bastard? Hell, yes, I am. That's how you survive. To be anything else is to leave yourself open to getting stabbed in the back.

So, no, I would not participate in the Olympics if I could. Hell, they wouldn't let me, either; spider DNA spliced into my genetic code pretty much gives me an "unfair" edge over pretty much all my competition.
