Yes, his AP tasks are not his fault. But the way he lies about the other HGs in order to get others to believe the worst of them? Not his AP tasks. He does it to frame them, to make others turn on them, and it's horrible. Is it part of the game? Of course it is! But do I (or anyone else watching or anyone in the house) have to like it? Nope. I don't. The things he's said ("If Dick and Daniele end up in sequester, she'll end up pregnant") are vile and disgusting. Amber entrusted him with some situations in her life regarding abortions and he went ahead and told someone else about it to discredit her.
He's a weasel and if he were truly America's Player, he would've waited until he knew what WE wanted before trying to railroad Nick. But he didn't. He said it himself, Nick was playing the role that Eric wanted to play and he couldn't handle it. He got cocky and believed that we would do what HE wanted instead of the other way around. Wrong. He blatantly ignored what we wanted, half-assing his attempt to get Kail out, and this is his punishment. I'm all for it.
As for the banners, yes, they pretty much keep them away from them and have done so since season 2. I believe they did see one in S6 that let Howie and Janie know that America didn't like April. And before the banner I posted above, there were 8 or 9 others that nobody got to see. But just the fact that they were flown after Nick went up gave Dick reason to suspect something was up. Is it fair? What's fair in this game? Eric is getting inside information from America about the other HGs, so why not even the playing field and give the others information about Eric?
Dani already suspected Eric was up to something before this, she told Nick as much. This just cleared everything up for her.
I have no problem saying I'm biased because of how he badmouthed Nick and blamed him for things he didn't do. Eric is a weasel and I hope he goes home on Thursday.
