I've been nudged!
I'm still alive. Just deep underground in the world of Big Brother, as I warned everyone about. I haven't even looked at my FL in about 3 weeks, that's how bad I've got it. I get about 2-4 hours of sleep per night and I somehow make it through work every single day. It's not anything I'm proud of, but I'm like a crack addict at this point. I've got a partial BB post all typed up, and I'd love to finish it today if I can, but I'm not sure.
I think of all of you often and I miss you, but BB is my escape every summer and while I both love and hate it at the same time, I've mostly just come to embrace the obsession and enjoy it while I can. It'll be over in about 6 weeks and live will be back to normal then.
See the boy in my icon? He's one of the main reasons I'm hooked this year. That's Nick. He's pretty, and sweet, and he's falling in loooove. sigh. I'm a sucker for a love story, even the reality-show kind, and he keeps me coming back for more.
Things are tense right now. Nick was sitting pretty for a while, but now suspicions have been raised and the entire house is getting paranoid about him. But they don't see what we see - that he's been true blue 100% for Daniele and that whole group since very early on. It's distressing to watch them badmouth the nicest guy in the house, and he may get screwed over by everyone whispering in Dick's ear about him, but it'll be okay. *sniff* More details later, I'm sure.
And Dani digs him too:
And she does his nails to make sure he stops biting them:
And he does her nails right back:
And he's a big boy, playing in the water:
And they lay down together and he rubs her temple:
And after they fight, they make up in the most precious fashion:
When she has a headache, he opens her child-proof packet of aspirin and comforts her:
They're just a really sweet and adorable little couple and I really hope things don't get ugly anytime soon. Everyone's warning her about him, and she told Amber herself that she's now suspicious of him so she's now going to take her heart out of the game and play with her mind. She's really worried that he's playing her, so she said she'd play him right back. But we know he's genuine about this, I just wish everyone could believe it, too. The BB house breeds paranoia, though, so I'm not surprised it's turned into this.
Last night, they shared their first kiss. Well, maybe it wasn't their first. But.. it was the first we all saw (heard?) on the feeds. And to be honest, she didn't need to do that to keep him totally "in like" with her, as he says. He seemed fine with the flirting and harmless stuff, he kept telling her that he never wanted to put her in an awkward position. So my guess is that the girl is massively conflicted. Everyone's telling her one thing, but she really trusts him, and she's falling for him as hard as he's falling for her. Add in the boyfriend she has at home and you've got a girl with a lot on her mind to sort out. It's gotta be tough.

Jen and Kail were nominated by Dick, Jen won POV, and Mike will be going up in her place (unless something huge happens with Nick) with Mike going home, most likely.
And seriously, Nick needs to win HOH next week to prove himself to Dick and Dani and everyone else. They think he won't mess with the MRA, but we know he wants to destroy them. I hope he can prove himself. sigh.
