Mac Problem
I'm in need of some Mac help.
I use one here at work (an iMac), but I only use it for the basics. Anything else frustrates me because I'm such a PC person. Anyway, I have pictures on here (for work) that I got loaded and they were accessible through the "pictures" portion of the .. oh goodness, what do I call it? It's the window where, on the left, it has a menu bar with icons that has "Desktop" and "Applications" and stuff like that. Well, the "Pictures" was one option.
I thought it would be cool to have that accessible as a desktop folder, so I - being the PC girl that I am - dragged the icon out of the sidebar and onto the desktop. Big mistake. It literally made a little explosion dustcloud and disappeared. I can't find it anywhere! The pictures are still viewable through my EasyShare, but I can't find an actual folder for them so I can burn them when I need to.
I know this sounds lame, and if this were a PC I wouldn't be freaking out, but I have no idea why it made my picture folder EXPLODE AND DISAPPEAR! AAAGHHH! I looked in the trash, it wasn't there, and I have no idea where to look. Macs confuse me and anger me greatly, so any handholding would be appreciated.
