Big Brother - down to the final two..
My sweet Janey's gone. I haven't seen it yet, but I knew it was going to happen. I'm okay with it, because she is going out with dignity and self respect and she kicked out the boy that she likes because he was lying to her about too many things. That's my girl.
She is one of my favorite TV personalities - reality or otherwise - ever. I know it can be easy to hate her from a distance, but when you spend almost 6 months out of the last year getting to know her, watching her live her life every day, watching her with her friends, watching her crush on boys, watching her win competitions and watching her cry and laugh and everything inbetween - it's hard not to just love her to death.
She leaves the game as the most popular female BB player ever, and is only 2nd behind Kaysar for the overall popularity lead. She's adored by so many, and she keeps a wonderful air about her in the process. As Neil Patrick Harris said, "she has a radiance about her." I wish her nothing but the best in life.
I'm still so wholly conflicted about her situation with Will. He came out and gave some interviews that made me hate him so much it's unreal. He's trying to save face, trying to cover his tracks, trying to make everyone believe that he hadn't fallen for the girl who kicked him out. But he did. It was written all over his face, every day. The game, his strategy, it was all an excuse to be closer to her. I think he knows that deep down. And absolutely nobody can convince me otherwise. I have no delusions about anything happening between them after the show's over, but nobody could ever convince me that the boy didn't care deeply for her while he was in the house.

That's something that is shared that can't be taken away. That's what people enamored with each other do, not people just doing flirting, or just having a showmance. That was a way you guys communicated; the rest of us could read it loud and clear.

And to top off the chick power trip, someone made this awesome music video for Janey, done to Christina Aguilera's "Fighter." I love it, it's perfect for her. The ending, with the "remembers" is my favorite part.

And now back to me being a hopeless, sappy romantic that should be ashamed of myself. auntjulie at Jokers made this video for Will and Janelle that's probably the best one I've seen so far - and there are a million of them. It's done to Survivor's "The Search Is Over" and it's kindof perfect.
I really hope that she and Will can at least just be friends and get through all the BS with their egos and the lies between them. And if I see them on The Amazing Race sometime soon, even better!
I'm looking VERY forward to the finale, because I get to see my Kaysar again! With my Janey! And my Howie! And I couldn't care less who wins, both of the finalists disgust me in their own special way. So I'll focus on how loved Janey will be when she comes out to the crowd of people, just like last year.
But let's get to the important stuff! BB is giving away a $25,000 prize as the last America's Choice - and it can go to anyone on the jury! That's right, time to give Janey the prize money she deserves! You can text the number "7" to "81818" to vote for her. It's 50 cents per vote, so I'm only gonna vote twice. But after the west coast airs their show tonight, you can vote on the website, I think. And if she wins this, and adds it to her stipend for making it to sequester? She makes *more* money than the person who comes in 2nd! Sweet justice!
With the exception of the finale next Tuesday, I can declare that my official summer obsession is over! Now I can pay more attention to my friends and other fandoms, finally. At least, until next summer. ;)
