PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Play Golf America will once again be supported by a national Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign featuring celebrities and sports personalities imploring viewers to "Play Golf America!" Now in its third year, Play Golf America will be promoted by a variety of PSAs scheduled to run more than 400 times on network and national cable television.
The advertising campaign features cameos from celebrities including: James Woods, Justin Timberlake, Kathy Ireland, Carson Daly, Sterling Sharpe, Dennis Quaid, George Lopez, Huey Lewis and Michael Bolton. Each of these personalities donated their time in support of Play Golf America.
The first spots will begin running in April. In addition to Play Golf America-specific PSAs, there will also be separate versions promoting the calendar of Play Golf America national programs, such as PGA Free Fitting & Trade-Up Month in April and PGA Free Lesson Month in May, along with American Express Women's Golf Week presented by Golf For Women Magazine (June 3-10, 2006) and Take Your Daughter to the Course Week (July 10-16, 2006).
