~.: Since Twitter doesn't allow enough room for me to talk about this, I figure I'll make some use of my LJ for once. Today I am wearing the black dress that my creepy coworker Enrique had determined is OMG SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER DRESS I WORE THAT ONE TIME OMG (yes, apparently he was that enthusiastic when he talked to John about my dress). Comments that have been made to me today that have made me feel uncomfortable:
You just love to wear things that show off those long legs of yours, don't you? ~My chiropracter
You look pretty today. ~Male client
I like your toes. ~Male client (really? wtf?)
I like your necklace. ~Male client
~.: Perhaps out of context these comments are harmless, but I know the backgrounds of these clients, and the one from my chiropracter was just unnecessary. So what if I keep managing to wear a dress or skirt to my appointments? I just don't think about it. I like skirts and dresses. They look good on me. :| And of course Enrique comes in tonight at midnight while I'm wearing this dress. And I work an entire shift with him tomorrow. FML.
