~.: Despite the lack of turkey and going around the table thanking God and each other for another wonderful year, this weekend has been wonderful. I spent pretty much all of it at Aileen's. Friday involved spontaneous shopping in Taka no Hara with Pam (again) where I bought the hottest red and black one-piece that was on sale for 1050 yen. My poor credit card. XD; Then Saturday I met up with Aileen and we wandered around Shijo where I showed her that bookstore Sarah and I had found earlier, and I bought another book to read since I'd finished Good Omens about a week back. My copy of Twilight is being so communal; after I finished it I lent it to Pam and after she finished it I lent it to Pam. And now I'm reading The Historian, recommended to me by Aileen and though nothing dramatic is happening yet it's suddenly a very good book. Especially now with the appearance of the strange Turkish man who's got strange wounds on the side of his neck -cough-vampirebites-cough-.

~.: Last night after wandering around Shijo Aileen and I listened to some music, talked about whatever, and then began watching a drama she had on her computer called Stand Up!. All about these four boys who are the last virgins in their high school and despite the efforts of one of them (who looks weirdly like Gackt o.o) to uphold the honor of the Virginity Preservation Club, they are determined to lose it before the end of the summer. Hilarity ensues. And then, for some reason, one of Aileen's host sister's friends wanted to know if Aileen and I were "love-love" (meaning she thought we were lesbians??). I have no idea what would have inspired such a thought, cuz really, I'm clingier around Layne and my other friends. -shrug- Whatevs.

~.: Then today we wandered to the Imadegawa campus where our school was having a school festival, ran into Misuzu (omg, bikkuri!), ate some sort of rice cake soup stuff and watched a video about Aileen's host sister's trip to Cambodia. And then we went back to Shijo to find a bookstore that apparently had alot of foreign books, both of us searching for New Moon. Japan fails. >>;;

~.: And now I'm home. It's been a long weekend. I'm tired, hungry, and my stomach hurts for some strange reason. Still counting down the days, yo~~ :D

japan, lol, random, homesick, shopping, fun weekend, omg, field trip
