The odds are really stacked up against me when it comes to medical school. I need at least a 3.5 GPA, and a 27 on my MCAT, even though a 30 would be great. Most people get a 24, and a review course for it costs $1500, which I don't and never will have. It costs hundreds of dollars to take the MCAT and apply to Med school, plus the hundreds of thousands of dollars just to pay for schooling if you even get in. It's not as if I have any charming interview qualities that can help me, either, when the time comes.
I guess some paths are easy; wide and flat, and by a water source, with rest areas on the way if you get tired. And some paths are difficult.
I must be some sort of club-footed midget trying to throw a ring into a volcano.
This week was fun I guess, but it was a lot of work too. Cadaris and Danielle and I did our on-line quizzes together, which is good because I didn't fail. Last night I was going to go out but that plan fell through, which sucks. This weekend I start my ethnography on the workplace, so I have to take field notes. I can't wait, it will be the best paper I've ever done.
Later, me and Marshall are going to get pancakes at IHOP.
