my weekend update:
thursday: went to Melanie Bush's lecture on "Everyday Forms of Whiteness." later that night i went to the GLBTU meeting on campus to try and help organize some events. after the meeting arthur and i were really hungry, so we found oscar and went to stop and shop in white plains at 1 am. we cooked food at oscar's apartment, and watched movies till 4 am. so much fun!
friday: eventually woke up and had a breakfast with candice at the lovely dinning hall, which was delicious as usual. drank tea at the food co-op. eventually went to the vagina monologues with arthur and ray. the monologues were actually better than i had expected them to be. arthur held my hand a few times, i swooned, he was in complete vagina envy, it was a magical evening. after the performance we went to the hub and bought a ridiculous amount of krispy kreme donuts and ice-pops. then we all met candice at an awesome purchase dance party.
saturday: went bird watching in the dining hall and ate breakfast. i eventually went home and slept for a lot of hours.
sunday: went to work at bubby's.
i have so much work to do over the next few days--make that the next two weeks before spring break.
