"Schnitzelbank!"
had a pretty insane weekend. friday was a nice half-day with the children, followed by a sushi lunch and another half-day of paper-grading (boo-ring!). finished off the day at paul's oktoberfest party. i'm not allowed to divulge much of the events during the party - let's just say that the boot kicked my ass.
yesterday was a 24-hour recovery for me. it wouldn't have been as bad staying home if my heater was fixed. i won't go into details, but all the blood vessels in my face are burst from pressure. i was back to normal by around 2:00am, and after sleeping the day away i really didn't get back to sleep until about 5:00am.
church went well. the choir sounded great. my nephew doug's birthday party in ohio was awesome. it was pirate themed and i felt more out of place dressed in normal clothes.
after this long week i'm really excited about spending wednesday night with michelle. we're making a bunch of food for saturday's family dinner. then we're handing out candy to the local trick-or-treaters. should be a great time. should be a great week.
