Yesterday was a bit crazy! I had to get up at 5:30 to take Cassie out, then drive to Kensington to drop off the rental car, then take the train to DC and then take the train to Baltimore for work! OY!
Work was fine, and it felt very much like a day last week- a work day following a very long commute.
I scheduled Comcast to come install TV and internet from 2-5 yesterday. No one ever called, so I called them at 5:30. They said 20 more minutes- he was on another installation but he was on his way. At 7:30 I called again, and they gave me an emergency "ticket." They also promised someone would call back within 15 minutes. At 8, I said "screw it" and went over to Peabody for a less than interesting bass trombone recital. (How exciting can a bass trombone recital BE?)
I called comcast again at 9:00, and was told that they had run out of equipment, and that they thought everyone was called about it. So I wonder who was lying? The person who said he'd be there in 20 minutes - or the person said they had no equipment all day? I wonder if Comcast service is as sucky in places where they have Fios already.
The highlight of the day was being in a gorgeous recital hall within 3 minutes of leaving my house!
