Dear Yuletide Author,
Thank you for offering to write in any of the following fandoms. I read anything except for kidfics and long-term sickness fics. I'll willingly read any non-school-based (no high-school/college etc) AUs provided that the character dynamics remain. I love details of setting in a story, whether it's a spaceship or ancient Rome, clothing, weather, or period-specific idea....I don't mind supernatural elements in otherwise a "realistic story" as long as it doesn't take over.
Arsene Lupin
- If you're writing this, I'll read anything, but I would love a fic where Arsene almost fails, that is more introspective than what LeBlanc gives us. If you can manage to fit Sherlock Holmes (or Herlock Sholmes, if you like) and Watson in there, that would be simply fantastic (but not a requirement). I simply want a Lupin fanfic about Lupin....and that has nothing to do with his children/descendents.
Rome (HBO)
- A story of soldiering in Rome would be brilliant. An encounter, a memory....anything involving Caesar's view on Vorenus, Vorenus' views on Caesar. I don't care when it takes place or who else in canon are mentioned in the story. Any historical detail would be greatly appreciated, however.
Three Musketeers
- Aramis and Athos. I'd love a friendship fic that took place any time in pre/post-during canon. Make it as angsty or as joyful as possible. I'd prefer it if it does not involve Milady or D'Artagnan. I want a fic about how these two men, each full of internal conflicts, found each other worthwhile.
Neverending Story
- I simply want to know what happen afterwards....What happens to the boy who read with a flashlight under the covers? what happens to the brave Atreyu? what world do they ultimately choose?
