time, time, and half a time

Captain America - unexpectedly touching, unexpectedly full of recognizable British actors, unexpectedly bad villainy-plot.

I spent half the movie going "oh Steve *sob because of his Goodness* and the other half "heh, isn't that the new Julia Flyte? That person looks familiar, Richard Armitage is in this? what's Dominic Cooper..wait, did the credits say JJ Feild aka Mr. Tilney?"

Imminent Tony Stark/Steve Rogers (or Stark in any variation) explosion on the Internet come 2012. I can see it. Of the pre-movie trailers, I can't believe they're remaking Spiderman within my lifetime. I feel positively ancient. Why don't I grow up already...and perhaps finish writing some papers -_-

Had a dream where Erik Lensherr didn't realise he's growing up/is a grown man for a long time because Shaw keeps them moving, keeps him confused, doesn't allow metalliic reflective surfaces near him and the only person he sees constantly is Shaw who doesn't show age and has a tendency to call him "little". Granted, I was sort of plotting it when I fell asleep, but the dream is creepier because fairy-tale changeling element got into it. Then it got tragic because Charles is a man who's aware of age and lives and deaths by the time he's a teenager while Erik is still emotionally more or less a teenager..

Also, Moira reads Russian in the movie.

And I'm still so obsessed with Charles/Erik that every poem I read now seems like a tribute to them. Exhibit 1: Two Figures in Dense Violet Light">.
