I'm about a third of the wearisome way through A Dance of with Dragons and there are moments where I think I'm reading something slightly but embarrassingly trashy...
Meanwhile, my XMFC obsession continues alongside my post-exam stress symptoms such that I wake up two hours after I fall asleep thinking that I should've worded my answer more completely at which point I read devastating Charles/Erik fanfics like there's no tomorrow until I fall asleep again. Am still waiting for a fic that considers Penvensie-return-from-adulthood/Narnia effect of a mind-reading child....Also, there's something terribly Brideshead Revisited about a possible fanfic narrative that I'm half in love with at the moment...
Also, should I go see the Last Harry Potter movie? I didn't see the last one and I only saw about three in total of the six so far. Still..end of an era and all that?
Umberto Eco had a new novel out in 2010 called The Prague Cemetery. How did I miss this!? I thought The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana was going to be his last...
