Well, it is elsewhere...

Called my brother, I did leave my flashdrive in a backpack at home. Well, at least it's found, but I did have to go on Amazon and purchase another one, bigger and I hope, better, since it's advertised as fast, waterproof and possibly vehicle proof as well. Also, after the pointless ransaking, both my room and my office are now much tidier...

Decided to de-stress a bit by watching a movie based on a novel called Angel starring Romola Garai as the titular character and Michael Fassbender with a plot that's like a meta-meta on a Mary-Sue since it begins with young temperamental Angel living above a grocery shop dreaming of become a famous writer. She does so while young and becomes fabulous famous and wealthy, then pursues and marries the love of her life, an angsty artist. Everything's charmed until WWI and the bitter truth of men(and possibly Victorian class system, though that's only hinted), so to speak, forces themselves into her life. The bluescreen in this movie's amazingly bad but the wonder of the pathos in sentiment turns TVtropes on its head. That alone makes it wonderfully touching. It's very seldom in a movie that a heroine doesn't get what she wants while being the creator and protagonist in her own story...And for the world to add insult to injury, the movie ends with her admitting it's the sister of the man she loves who actually loves her before she died and the world forgetting her while remembering the husband...
