now this is interesting; will all the captains who lost their bankai end up hearing their zanpakutous' voices for the first time in a while?
and then you have ken-chan, whom we left with hearing his zanpakutou's voice (and name) for the first time ever. is there a connection? we just don't know!

i didn't really get this. why would a hollowfied bankai block the face in particular -- because it's essentially a mask, like the Vizards and Arrancar have?
