Mina returned to her apartment, surprised at the urgent note she found taped to her door.
When she read the details, her face drained of color. Something had crashed in England, her England. Something that posed a threat. She was to return at once, and meet with the rest of the League at Horsell Common.
Expect the worst, it said.
She quickly called a few select friends, Daisy, Loki, Mitchell and Dr. Tam. She left them messages as to her being gone for a few days, not mentioning the fact she may not return.
She felt such detail would be too dramatic.
She gathered her important things, called Portalocity to hurredly arrange travel, and heading out to the point where her portal would appear.
