I've been expecting to get a large medical bill in the mail for the cardiac testing I had done before my surgery. I wasn't sure how large, but I thought it'd be anywhere from $1000-4000. Understandably, this has been weighing on both Rob and me for a few weeks.

I found out about a pretty cool credit card from Rob's Money magazine yesterday. It's called Working Assets Visa. The cool part is that it donates 10 cents every time you make a purchase to a charity you select (it includes groups like the ACLU, Human Rights Watch, Children's Defense Fund, etc.). Social Security has given me an $8 monthly raise (woohoo! :P). So, with this raise, Rob's agreed that I can donate $5 monthly. Since I received my back payment, I want to donate some money to charities. I'm already going to be giving $100 total to Third Haven, the Quaker Monthly Meeting I attend. But there are other charities I want to help; however, I know I won't be able to help all of them. Help me decide?
