I'm not a violent person. I'm really not. But I'm starting to get very, very angry at my PCP's office. I called MHIP today, because the prior authorization form for the Enbrel was *still* not going through and I now have 2 shots left, and I'm taking one of them today. The MHIP person I spoke to was shocked when I said a 2nd PA form had been faxed in by my office, because they never got it. So, either my PCP's office didn't fax it in, or they faxed it to the wrong number, or MHIP's fax machine wasn't working at that exact moment.
I can't believe this. This was 3 weeks ago. I had their guarentee that it would be faxed in *that day*. And, apparently, appeals take longer to process than normal PA forms, so ... it doesn't sound likely that it will go through by the time I run out of Enbrel. This is frelling charming, and exactly what I need right now.
I had to leave a message for Vernisse, the nurse who's been dealing with my MHIP stuff. If she doesn't call me back by 2, I'm calling the office back. This has to be dealt with *today*.
