We finally figured out what's been going on with Kosette: the pumpkin Rob's been giving her at night to help with furballs had gone moldy. Apparently pumpkin goes bad in 5-7 days; the current can had been open for almost a month. We're now freezing the pumpkin that would go bad and keeping smaller amounts in the fridge. I am very relieved, though, because this means that there's nothing actually wrong with Kosette. Since she's 13, I was worried that maybe this was the beginning of the end: that this stomach thing would turn into a chronic health problem that would just be the first of many until her death. But, no, she's still healthy, and I can relax.

In other cat news, Cinnamon's diarrhea is getting much better. I'm hoping her appetite will start reducing (she's currently eating about 1.5 cups of food a day when she should be eating 2/3rds of a cup) as her GI system normalizes. We're hoping to move her in with Zathras at night this weekend to free up our guest bedroom for my parents, who are planning on visiting April 8-12th.

I walked for 95 minutes last week. So far this week, I've walked for 20 minutes and belly danced for 35. In spite of all this, I have apparently gained two pounds. I suppose it's possible with all the exercise I've been doing that the weight gain is muscle mass, but I'd still like to see my exercise accomplishments reflected on the scale. I'm trying to remind myself that what really matters is that I'm feeling, overall, better than I have in years. I have more energy, am sleeping better at night, and have been having less pain. And that matters much more than losing weight.
