Celebration and remembrance

It's observed the forth Monday in May every year. It's the traditional start of the Summer season. It's a day of cookouts, beach excursions, boating, and other various leisure activities. But most importantly it's the set aside by The U.S. to honor and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in battle so that we may enjoy the aforementioned frivolities. MEMORIAL DAY. A day in which pay tribute to those who fell at Brandywine and Yorktown. Shiloh and Gettysburg. Ardennes and Pearl Harbor. Pusan, Hamburger Hill, and our Men and Women who fell in Iraq and Afghanistan. We honor the fallen buried at Arlington, Normandy, Bataan, and at sea. So while we this occasion to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, let us take a moment honor, pay tribute, salute and remember those that made it possible for us to achieve this. So have a happy, poignant, blessed and wonderful Memorial Day. Thank you to all that died in defense of freedom. We will not forget you.
