"Stormchasers"
I don't know if it's because tornadoes scare the everlovin' crap out of me or what, but I think that these stormchaser guys are batshit crazy.
I don't know if anyone else has ever watched this show, it's free on demand on Comcast, so last night, when there was nothing else on, I gave it a shot.
There are these three guys that have to the the douchiest meteorologists on the planet. They just scream popped-collar-frat-boy-adrenaline-junkie-asshat. I can't explain it.
They shout a lot and talk about all of the website hits they're going to get from the videos they take of tornadoes...you know, tornadoes: the things that spin at over a hundred miles an hour, destroy towns, and kill people...w00t!
I sincerely wanted to punch this dude in the scrotum. Which I realize is terribly uncharitable. But the other chasers are dudes that try to get data to figure out how tornadoes work...how they destroy things so that architects can design buildings to withstand certain windspeeds.
These dudes...their equivalent in "Twister" was played by Carey Elwes and I think he got a metal bar through his chest. Just sayin'.
