Isn't it something?

Done this before, but what the hell. Everyone loves an interview.
As do I. I was interviewed by the lovely and thoroughly interesting krisdababe. Here are the questions/answers.

1) If you could live in any city in the world where would it be?If you had asked this a few months ago the answer would've been pretty clear, with Austin or New York taking the ( Read more... )

i was a four-year older soccer player from Nova Scotia when I was 13... Yeahhhh, I don't get it either. We all experiment with internet alter-egoes i think. It's so easy to recreate yourself online.

Do me?

Oh, you mean interview you. Ok here goes.

1. Since you've been a bit cautious with certain recent entries, just how much of yourself are you willing to put online? I don't mean nudie pictures. I mean how is exposing your innermost thoughts and feelings different to a bunch of nameless strangers different from exhibitionism?
2. Where do you think the need to have an LJ stems from? Narcissism? Boredom? The human need to show off?
3. Do you think you could ever cross that borderline-emo threshold? Please say no, because I might just have to delete you, and I'm this close to with all the fucking Kurt Halsey (JK!!).
4. Since music is one of our biggest influences growing up, what two or three songs do you think have actually changed your life (or shaped you into what you are today) and how?
5. As close as I came to doing this, my curiosity took over. Tell me what you really think about me without using the words "dick" or "awesome" or "awesome dick".

1) You're obviously a big music fan, so you like a lot of different styles and genres. But what three bands or artists would you not be able to live without? Why?
2) Conversely, from the stuff that you're currently digging, which band or artist do you think you'll have completely forgotten about/will probably hate in ten years' time? Why?
3) As a teenage girl in the US who's (from what I can tell) not obviously a "cool kid", not obviously a geek, not obviously a punk and not obviously a freak, do you find yourself consciously struggling against falling into a category or being easily labelable (IT IS A WORD)?
4) What's the appeal of MySpace? Seriously. I DON'T GET IT. (if you want, make this into an insightful commentary about the current blogging/friend-networking craze and what it says about the world today-- facebook and livejournal references optional).
5) If you had to choose, would you rather be attacked by a bear with a gun or a bear with a machete?

1) Where the hell have you been and what have you been up to the last few months?
2) The whole slow-dancing-on-stage-with-the-guy-from-BSS thing aside, what's been the best concert experience you've ever had?
3) What's your philosophy on long distance relationships?
4) What's your favorite cartoon? Isn't Space Ghost the coolest? (if you don't know SGC2C or are uncertain about your answer, watch this. Or just watch it anyway, it's funny)
5) Same fifth question as ___watermark. DO IT. DO IT NOW.

1) Barranquilla: Close-minded little hellhole or brilliant city filled with joy and exhuberant charm?
2) What do you see as the main difference between how people think in Barranquilla (or, if you wanna make a broader statement, Colombia or latin america as a whole) and the US?
3) Have you struggled with the perception the world has of your country or do you just not care?
4) How did you get into animé and what is your all time favorite?
5) BOXERS OR BRIEFS? (on men)
