Is it ever going to stop raining? Probably not for a while. I feel sorry for the players at Wimbledon, they've had so many rain delays, but there's still been some good matches and I got to watch Nadal play a bit which is always good - he's so yummy. Plus Mum says that Bjorn Borg is coming back for only the second time since he retired to see if Federer is gonna equal his record of five singles title wins in a row.
Time has gone quickly here in Cornwall as I'm off home to Southampton tomorrow. Think good thoughts for a good train journey, I have a couple of changes but should get back early evening. Cornwall isn't home anymore, it's where my parents live and my bedroom here is the room of the 17 year old Emily who lived here before university. I wish I could have more time here, it feels all rushed, especially after my mum's news. Her operation isn't until late August now so she'll have her holiday in France with Dad and Ali first which is really nice.
Whenever I come here I always seem to discover some old television shows which are new to me. I've been watching the UK version of Fort Boyard and the Ed Tudor-Pole series of The Crystal Maze (ok, so this one's been an obsession for a while now) and RollerJam which is mania on wheels but so much fun for the messy thing that it is. Yes, I am obsessed with action/adventure gameshows. They're inspiring me to write, I've been writing something with Ed in it and have realised that he's like another version of the Doctor (eccentric British-voiced male travels around time and space with friends lol). Never let it be said that I am not consistent.
