Giving myself the runaround

Argh, time keeps getting squished and I never seem to have enough time to write, fiction or blogs. My job is crazy-busy but I'm enjoying it. I'm trying to get my pension sorted - getting the benefits from my previous pension scheme into my new one. Also trying to organise the visual tech rota for church for Christmas time, need to get that sent out soon. Also sent my chapter about the 'Herne's Son' episodes for the Nothing's Forgotten anthology to Barnaby, yay. I've got F1 fics that I need someone to beta but no one's interested right now due to events in F1 and I want to push but I know that I can't so my fics remain unposted. Tomorrow, the hubby and I head off to Cornwall to spend a week with my parents. I am going to attempt not to steal a laptop from someone and write my butt off. Anthony says I can borrow his. I always intentionally don't take mine, otherwise I'd just write and not go out. Which would be bad. Apparently.

I swear when I get back I'll blog properly. I want to write about F1 and I want to write about my thoughts on the recent Doctor Who series - shorthand thoughts, Capaldi and Coleman were both astonishingly good and I want to see more of that TARDIS team, I adored many of the episodes though I was often struck by the thought that no New!Who will ever be as magical to me as Classic!Who, the pacing, the storytelling, suits me so much better.

Anyway, until I can actually talk substantially, here's a trailer for Ripper Street series three. The show was cancelled by the BBC, was saved by Amazon Prime because of intense fan interest and will be released online next week and aired on the BBC next year. I love fan powered shows :) And this trailer really does make me want to watch. I want to write more of my Hobbs!AU, seriously every time I watch Ripper Street, I want to write more. Not sure I will be able to though, seeing as apparently from what the trailer shows, Jackson gets a new love interest.
