R.I.P Frank Thornton (1921 - 2013)
Farewell to another British comedy great. Captain Peacock in Are You Being Served? - the main cast of that have almost all died now, gives me a jolt everytime I think of it - and Truly in Last Of The Summer Wine. Frank Thornton was truly a proper classic and part of my childhood. I think of him with fondness still. Thanks for all the warm-hearted laughter.
