Hurrah for improvement! :)
Happy Easter :) Hope there was chocolate and fun for everyone. My Mum gave Anthony and I Dalek Easter Eggs, in these awesome Dalek boxes. They're now sitting in our fridge, keeping cool after the hot trip home yesterday. So yes, we have Daleks in the fridge.
We had a lovely few days in Cornwall with my parents and little sis. We laughed a lot, told ridiculous family stories, my dear friend Chris came to visit on Good Friday and we all had lunch in the garden together bathed in the glorious hot sun. Anthony got to watch low-division football at the local stadium and watch hockey on TV and generally relax and rest from the stress of his work and the stress of his stepdad being so ill. It was good and fun for both of us.
The good news is that Lee, my stepdad-in-law, is improving. He's still in hospital, obviously, and will be for some weeks to come. But his leg infections are beginning to heal and they've lessened his medication so he's more keen to eat now and even sat up in bed on Saturday to watch Doctor Who. They are small improvements, but goodness, any news is good news. The amount of prayers and good thoughts that were sent his way was wonderful, so thank you. I even tweeted Jim Beaver (Bobby from Supernatural) so ask him to retweet the prayer request - something he often does when fans' friends or relatives are in need - and he did it. So I got some lovely supportive and encouraging tweets from complete strangers. It once again showed me how wonderful fandom can be. Any more news, I shall pass it on here. Seriously, thanks for everything, guys.
