toxic friends
i got a call from an old friend the other day - i wasn't home, she left a message on my machine.... i don't think i'm calling her back. she's one of those people who just sucks the life right out of me... she's always going through some emotional trauma and i used to try to help her, but i just can't do it anymore. i feel kind of bad... but not enough to get involved in all of that again. some people are just bad for you.
on the other hand, i got a message from another old friend on my myspace account and am so glad that i called him. it was as if we had still been talking every day. i missed that and told him so. i like having real friends.
