One day down, four to go.
The sooner this week ends the better. I have one research paper down (Arranged Marriages in India. Yippee), and one to begin tomorrow that is due Thursday (I'm not even sure of the topic. Someone I admire in the media or something? Whatever it is, it's most likely lame). However, today I did happen to get a little compliment that made me smile about my writing. We were peer reviewing our research papers in English today, and we had to "ask the writer a question", and my reviewer says "Your paper was very good, will you write my next essay for me?" I found that funny and it gave me a good laugh.
I picked up a very good distraction for myself in the coming weeks, which probably isn't the best choice, but my inner nerd just couldn't resist. I purchased Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii and it's everything I dreamed of and more. Its virtually an expansion on one of my favorite and most played video games ever. The gameplay is relatively slower, which takes some getting used to, and there is a HELL of a lot more items, but overall I'd say its pretty damn kickass. And there is just so much to unlock that it's going to have a ridiculous amount of hours logged on it from me. So yay amazing distractions during the last week of the quarter/finals week.
Anyways, just four more days of class left in the quarter and I could not be a happier camper at the prospect of this finally being done. Just gotta push through, and then the fun begins!
