I've been 18 for a week now.

And this whole time I've been running a passage from Little Women over and over in my head.

"You have been running, Jo; how could you? When will you stop such romping ways?" said Meg, reprovingly.
"Never till I'm stiff and old, and have to use a crutch. Don't try to make me grow up before my time, Meg; it's hard enough to have you change all of a sudden; let me be a little girl as long as I can."

Except, instead of Jo, replace it with Chelsea.
And instead of Meg, replace it with the world.

It's been a most excellent week though! Really, it has.
And my actual birthday couldn't have been better! It's all thanks to the Rozal family for taking me in. I forget how much good a family does sometimes. I admit I wasn't up for a birthday celebration at all. Teddy would know, he endured my birthday blues over the phone last night. Thanks, man. I was seriously pondering whether or not turning off all the clocks in my house would delay my birthday. Before I could make up my mind, it was a minute before 12. And before I had decided to set this pathetic plan into action, it was 12. I woke up the next morning to my brother showing himself into my room singing/yelling Happy Birthday and me begging my dad to tell him to shut up while I picked myself up off the floor. Then my dad drove my brothers and I to the library (my favorite place in the world!) to get and drop off some books, then to KFC for a bucket of finger-lickin' artery-cloggin' chicken, and to COSTCO to buy a birthday cake (lol). Hey man, COSTCO's got some pretty nice pastries, but instead of getting some really blinged up cake, I decided to go with a quaint little lemon bunt cake. I think it was 'cause it matched my yellow tanktop, plus I love lemon cake. So the rest of the day was spent at Katrina's place with family and friends. The day was spent playing soccer (I was Italy, OH YEAH!), playing SCRABBLE! (best game EVER next to Twister), playing catch with my baby cousin, a little football, eating excellent home-cooked meals, and watched ZOOLANDER! I played Marco Polo with my little cousins and tripped on air beds and sofas. That was actually so FUN, it surprised me. And then ended the day with a little conversation Katrina and I had about back in the day when my mom's bed was our make-shift boat and my brother was the shark, or when I hid myself in my dad's wardrobe hoping I wouldn't find a back wall. I found myself missing my barbie doll house all of a sudden. And if the day wasn't reminiscent enough, we watched Disney's Cinderella. Holy crap, what a day! I think about that day and juxtapose it to the next day when I had work.

This is right about when the aforementioned passage plays over and over in my head.

Yeah yeah I know. Suck it up.
Whatever, rant's done.

SO I have pictures I still have to put up:
