new yowk
i went to new york this weekend, it was sweet. really, really cool. it was nice to just go to a place where theres a totally different enviroment, where all the people are complete strangers, and yet you feel like you know them somehow. (by the way, a lotta cool characters out there, man, some strange ass people, some assholes, but a lotta cool people... so fucking diverse... its beautiful)
that was great for getting into photography too. i got some sweet shots, when i make prints i'll post some.
some highlights:

all the street musicians. they where awsome people, and alot of them made some really cool, and beautiful music.
these two acts we caught at subway stations, each of about 5 guys doing crazy gymnastics shit, and breakdance stuff, they were raking in the dough too, almost everyone in their crowd was handing out money to them.
spending way too much money on dinner in little italy, thus compensating for that by spending another $25 on wine, and getting fucked up. (we didn't really care all that much after that)
taking a 30 minute subway ride to a district in Queens called Jamaica, only to find out that there wasn't even a single rasta there, nothing but car dealerships and suburbian homes... how is that jamaica?
I love the subway system man. met alot of cool people there
went to time square to flick of and harrass the mtv studio... and saw a huge ad that said "peta kills animals .com" i havent checked it out yet, but i gotta find out what thats all about.
this one guy taught me how to play the steel drums in battary park. that was sweet.
THE CRAZY ASSHOLES THERE ARE AWSOME. i would tell stories, but i don't know which ones to tell, and even how to tell them online. but it was great.
i bought one of those good bush (girls vaginal area) bad bush(W.) shirts, either for me or danny, and left that on the subway when i was drunk. it was a great shirt though. with illustrations.
the graffiti, my favorite was on that said "fat people are lazy", and it was all artsy looking almost.
it was just cool. it was.
