11:00 AM Educational Seminar. "Grading Buffalo Nickels", by Bill Fivaz, NLG. 2013 marks the 100th Anniversary of the birth of the Buffalo Nickel. Who better to discuss this highly popular series than "Mr. Numismatic Education" himself, Bill Fivaz? After giving a brief overview of this series, Mr. Fivaz will discuss the proper way to grade both circulated and mint state examples of the Buffalo Nickel. Room S230F.
12 Noon Educational Seminar."The Many Faces of World Coins", by Bob Hurst Interest in collecting world coins is on the rise. Former FUN President Bob Hurst, a leading dealer in foreign coins, will tell those in the audience how to get the most out of their collecting experience. The possibilities will amaze you! 2:00 PM Educational Seminar "Other Works by Well-Known Coin Designers; The Modern Era", by Ray Hertz. Jacksonville researcher Ray Hertz will examine the careers and works of modern coin designers such as Gilroy Roberts and Glenna Goodacre. Their sculptures and other works of art will amaze you! 3:00 PM Educational Seminar "300th Anniversary of the 1715 Spanish Treasure Fleet Loss - An Update", by Ben Costello. Mr. Costello, an attorney from Washington, PA, is the director of the 1715 Fleet Society. His program will explain the details of the catastrophic fleet loss which poured hundreds of millions of dollars worth of gold and silver items into the ocean just off the Ft. Pierce and Vero Beach area. He'll also discuss plans to celebrate the 300th Anniversary of this event. Room S230F.

The speakers are both prolific authors and well-known consumer advocates. Mr. Travers is the author of the popular "How to Make Money in Coins Right Now", and Mr. Rosen writes the award-winning "Rosen Numismatic Advisory". 2:45 PM Educational Seminar. "My 12 Favorite VAMs for 2013", by John Roberts Mr. Roberts is the director of attribution services for ANACS Grading Service of Colorado.
