Three weeks away from the Big Show concert, the members of Big Bang, choreographers, managers, production staff, stage designers, codi's - everyone, were hard at work in preparation.
Well, all the members, aside from T.O.P, at the moment at least.
Said manly-teddybear rapper was sitting off on one of the benches after practicing their latest remix of Lies, and was (slightly dejectedly, though he'd never say anything) watching the others continue practicing a strange yet catchy medley of 'Heartbreaker', 'Strong Baby', 'Wedding Dress', and 'It's a Hit'. (Imagine...XD)
“I guess this is what happens when you get placed in dramas instead of working on your solo album...you get to do the same song over and over, only more and more dramatic...” he sighed, mumbling it to himself just above his breath. Don't get him wrong, Seunghyun loved acting, but...watching all the others refining new stages for their most recent songs or singles, and him stuck with the ever faithful fan favourite 'Like Nothing's Wrong'...kinda made him feel like a sore thumb.
At this rate, he was certain Daesung's album would be out well before his was even started. But, it was what the company decided best for him right now, and he was constantly getting drama and movie offers, so many that he had to pass some up because their filming schedules coincided with eachother. He was busy, and it definitely wasn't boring. Just...he felt stifled, creatively, musically.
Jiyong, slightly flushed and sweaty, funnily-cut hair a mess since there was no camera about and thus no need for a hood or hat, sat down beside him, handing him a bottle of water. “Cheer up hyung,”
“I am cheery. See?” Seunghyun tugged his lips into the most forced smile possible, prompting him to snort.
“If it makes you feel any better, your stage is sexier and sexier each time,” Jiyong wiggled his eyebrows.
That, made him snort. “Oh, yeah, compared to Ri and YB and even Dae flashing their abs, and you fake-dryhumping Aimee on stage, my suit and trenchcoat never fails to make the fangirls scream and faint...” he rolled his eyes. Yeah, he worked a suit like a GQMF, but c'mon. That didn't end up the talk of the netizens (not that he was jealous).
“Pssh, obviously you don't know the appeal of a 'Sharp Dressed Man',” Jiyong quoted, throwing in his mild-accented English as he was prone to do ever since he started lessons and hanging out with Shaun.
“Uh...okay.” Seunghyun chose not to ask what that meant, and took a swig of the water.
“Well, why don't we talk to the producers about doing an extended opening for Haru Haru. You know how the fans really get off on that angry sexual tension between us,” Jiyong gave him the snarkiest smile he'd ever seen. “You'd like that, wouldn't ya...?” he egged him on with a cocky tone.
Seunghyun just stared at him like all the peroxide from a while ago had actually seeped into his brain, a vein throbbing in his temple.
Jiyong let out a chorus of laughs, “God! You should see your face!” he proceeded to make a 'ffff' sound, smothering his laughter into his hand.
Sure, he was good at conveying the 'violent-type' role...he was practically typecast already, and he was a pretty new actor as the business goes. But couldn't he do more than that, or was that all people wanted to see from him? “Yeah. You're hilarious...” he sighed with a sardonic smile, downing half the water bottle.
“Hyuuuung...” Jiyong pouted, trying to use a cute-attack method that Seunghyun himself was actually more suited to use. Then quickly abandoned it, scoffing, “Fuck, lighten up man. You'll get premature wrinkles if you frown so much,” and curled his snarled upper lip and took a drink of his own water, then got up, leaving him to stew in his annoyance.
Though, to be honest, Seunghyun wasn't exactly sure what he was annoyed about. Possibly the fact that Jiyong read him so well.
He managed to work some of it off through the rest of practice, or at least took the edge off it.
The rest of his annoyance was pretty much obliterated, when he fucked the hell out of Jiyong later that night. Three times.
Jiyong didn't have one more teasing word for him after that. Nor did he tell him to cheer up.
