Life's funny sometimes. Sometimes you think you know exactly what you want. Sometimes nothing and no one can change your mind. Sometimes you have everything all planned out. Then you wake up one day and it's like God pulled the carpet from underneath you and you realize that it was a flying carpet and now you're plummeting to your doom. Luckily, you have a ball of yarn (magical yanr) that you can knit into a newer, stronger carpet, but the question is - do you want to make the same carpet, or a new one. Will it be circular, or rectangle. Will the patterns you used in the first one still be around to (literally) support you, or will you forge new patterns that may move you in a different direction. Most of all - will you be able to realize that you can never have your old carpet back in time to save yourself?
