When I hear this I always imagine she's singing to God, not to any human lover. It makes it a -much- more beautiful song to me. Heard like this, it seems like a soul song. Saying- you've loved me all this time, I'm coming home for that kiss.

Jane's holds a special place for me. This song is about life and rolling with the seasons- in life and through/past it.
