Thankful. That is the word that I would most use to describe this year so far.
My 26th birthday party was last night at my house, as we never made it to the bar (which makes us awesome drunks), and it was absolutely incredible. I am so lucky to have the people that I have in my life. People that drove great distances to see me, of all people, for a birthday celebration. It meant so much to me. It made me feel so special. I am still a little taken aback by it all. When I think of the last few years and friendships I feel relieved that I finally have people that appreciate me and that I can appreciate in the same way.
