Chinen slowly stood up and saw that he’s not in Tegoshi’s place anymore. Instead, he is in a familiar room. He saw Yamada, Yuto and Daiki beside the bed, whispering to each other, as if they’re hiding a deep secret from him.
“What are you talking about?” he shyly asked.
No one answered, and Yuto and Daiki looked at Yamada. Both of them stood up and went to the door. Chinen stopped them, “Hey! Where are you guys going?”
The BEST member stopped Yuto from blabbering things again and answered, “We were just going back to Tegoshi-san’s. We’ll help in the clean-up from the party.”
“But why do I have to stay here?” Chinen asked, sensing that he is now in Yamada’s room, and to stay here alone WITH Yamada.
Yamada answered for him, “You…no, WE have to rest for a while. We did got drunk for the first time.”
The two other JUMP members went out and let their conversation continue. Yamada stayed on his position beside Chinen and took a deep breath, “I have to tell you something.”
Chinen looked at him with shining eyes. Yamada stopped for a second and continued, “I know I’m going to get punished for telling you this, but I think you have to know.”
“What is it?” the younger boy said, eager to listen to what Yamada will say.
Here it goes, he thought, “I don’t know when this started, but I no longer see you as a friend.”
Chinen interrupted, “Yamachan doesn’t like me?”
“No! You got me wrong. It’s the other way around. Yamachan likes you.” He used the little guy’s style of using the third person.
Chinen continued staring at him, and Yamada repeated, in a slower tempo, “Yamachan… likes…Chii-chan.”
Still no response from the other boy. He continued, “Okay. Ignore me like Daiki, but please accept that you’re not just a friend for me. If you want, I’ll keep my stupid moth shut instead. I know It’ll be hard, but if you-”
The younger boy interrupted once again, “You’re wrong. You and Dai-chan got everything wrong. When I was ignoring Dai-chan, everyone thought that I’m angry because I know that he likes me. That’s not right. I’m ignoring him not because I’m irritated, but because whenever I would see him I remember you. I’m getting jealous that Dai-chan has the courage to tell me, while I’m afraid to say anything to you. Then I would…I would…” he can’t finish his sentence as tears were already flowing on his cheeks.
Yamada hugged him tightly. It’s not fair for him. Why would Chinen suffer for being too quiet? It is his nature to be the quiet type…but why? Why would he hurt himself that like? Shouldn’t he be suffering instead of him? As he heard the crying got louder, he held Chinen’s head and whispered, “Don’t cry. I understand you. Please, stop.”
He heard Chinen stopped crying and sniffed some more. He looked down to see the other boy looking at him as well. Oh, those innocent eyes, why would those have to be full of tears. Yamada wiped the other boy’s eyes and smiled, “You have to be happy, you know. You like Yamachan, and Yamachan likes you too.”
Chinen laughed and placed his head on Yamada’s lap again, “This is awkward. We already had our first kiss without knowing that we like each other.”
Yamada again blushed, remembering what happened the night before. The younger boy just continued to laugh and look at Yamada’s red and puffy cheeks.
OWARI...???
Epilogue:
Chinen continued to look as he laughed, looking at Yamada’s blushed apperance. He began to think, how about another one?
He sat up and said, “Do you want a second kiss? This time, we’re in our senses now, so I guess this is better?”
Yamada acted right away and kissed Chinen’s soft lips. The other boy kissed back and pushed Yamada to lie down. He crawled on top of him and did it again. Yamada even wrapped his arms around Chinen’s soft body and gently touched him. he heard the little guy moaned, but he doesn’t care.
He felt the same feeling when they kissed last night. Although it feels stronger, now that they’re not drunk. They continued to smooch and kiss until they heard someone going up the stairs. They both sat up, Yamada fixing his shirt and Chinen wiping his wet lips.
Yamada’s sister came in and said,” if you guys are hungry breakfast is already downstairs.” Then closed the door.
Hearing the word “breakfast”, Yamada’s stomach reacted and made a loud churning noise. Chinen laughed, and held Yamada’s hand, signaling to go out, “Yamachan’s hungry already from what happened earlier~” he said in his usual high-pitched voice.
Yamada blushed as he stood up and followed Chinen out to his room.
Now it’s the REAL Owari...<3!!
