今川焼き

今川焼き. とても美味しいです！ ＾-＾
Everytime I go to Nihon Machi, this is what I get and sometimes I have to wait for the owner to make a new batch which I don't mind since I love to eat it when it's fresh and warm. These are called imagawayaki which is similar to pancakes filled with [red beans] in a semi-thick syrup. I have to add that I went to Ranch 99, a chinese super market, the other day...I saw these there and I am sorry to say that they make a very poor imitation of it. The batter was wrong and the red beans were dry and not even chunky. o_O
