Doctor Who 12x07-10

Finally caught up on Doctor Who!

12x07 Can You Hear Me?
Nice to see a different place on Earth getting attention!
Pfft, you can't tell me that humans are the only species with mental-health issues.
Tahira was interesting, but her story felt a bit short, like she was only a plot device.
Nice, some companions backstory!
Ooh, setting up an exit. I mean, not that I want Ryan to leave, but it's good to see that he misses home, because it annoys me when companions just leave for another place/time, as if they're not leaving people at home behind.

12x08 The Haunting of Villa Diodati
I might not have much to say about the episode so far, but don't mistake that for dislike.
Didn't expect a Cyberman to turn up there! Is it one of the Simm!Master's? Ooh, is the Guardian it's looking for of the same sort as the ones mentioned in the previous episode?
Okay, different Guardian, it seems. But the word coming up in consecutive episodes is a bit suspicious.
I like how the shot of Percy grabbing the Cyberium is reminiscent of Smeagol finding the Ring.
"Save the poet, save the universe." This better be a Heroes reference!

Forgot to take notes for 12x09 Ascension of the Cybermen.

12x10 The Timeless Children
When is Brendan coming into this?
"I do believe you're appealing to my better nature. And we both know I don't have one." He did have a better side when he was Missy! What happened to that progress?! If that won't be explained, I'll be grumpy.
I thought it would turn out that the Master was the Timeless Child and that because he grew up being experimented on, he was bitter. Really, the Doctor was the Child? Does this make sense, wouldn't that retcon things we know about the Doctor's past? And I don't just mean the number of regenerations. Speaking of regenerations: That would solve the limitation problem in the future.
So was Brendan actually the Doctor? Would be hilarious, because in Human Nature or Family of Blood the Doctor said that Gallifrey is in Ireland.
Oh god, not Time-Lord Cybermen! They do look cool though.
One of these days when Gallifrey is shown, we'll actually get to see the trees the Doctor once spoke of.
Nice to see Ruth back. But it's still weird to refer to an incarnation of the Doctor by a name instead of a number.
I sure hope the Time-Lord Cybermen didn't survive that explosion, but I have no doubt the Master survived it. But what about all the animals and plants on the planet? And I was sure there had been surviving Time Lords hiding somewhere. Seriously, stop killing off Gallifrey!
Oh, right, I forgot that other TARDISes have working Chameleon Circuits!
Ugh, come on, after this Chibnall could have left us with a bit of a happy ending!
