Sherlock 4x03 The Final Problem

Jan 16, 2017 22:08

Oh god, I'm sick with excitement! I have so many expectations for this episode! The Fall should finally (After 5 years!) get resolved, Mary should turn out to have faked her death, all about Eurus. And there was at least one other thing that I can't remember because of the terrible excitement!

Ooh, creepy. Reminds me of the Flight of the Dead and MH370. JIMBO, my precious! \o/

Fanboy!Mycroft? Or is he in his mind palace and stumbling over corrupted data? Come on, is this real or not? This is also important because does he really have a blade in his umbrella or not?!
Is that little Elizabeth? Heh, "coming to get you". Oh god, please let finalproblem's brilliant theory be right!
Fucking creepy clowns! But, hahaha, there's a pistol under the blade. ...Wait, clowns! OMG, please tell me finalproblem is right about that one too!
And there's Sherlock making deductions. Are you telling me this was all real? Well, at least that means Mycroft's Swiss-army-knife umbrella is real. XD

John is family. ♥
Can all of this really be true? So much exposition this early in the episode feels weird.
Haha, Azkaban Sherrinford.
Hee, Mrs. Hudson's rocking housework.
I can't believe they really blew up 221b! I'll miss that smiley on the wall!

Well, that's nice that Sherlock and John are so well after jumping through glass and falling a storey, with an explosion as their tailwind.
I wish this episode would stop being so bizarre. I keep questioning if what we're seeing is really happening.

Dammit, is Mycroft really that injured?
Phew, he's fine!

Yes, I missed you a lot.
And this entrance is glorious, but WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?! You can't tell me he's alive and that any of this is real. If the bizarreness of it isn't enough to convince, I think the color grading is a hint.
FIVE YEARS AGO! Okay, that makes more sense. But are you going to tell me that Jim killed himself because Eurus made him do it? Because I'd hate that, that wouldn't make his end so clever on his part.
Heh, that's one hell of a Christmas present! I envy Eurus.
Ha, I thought so. The vital information Jim need for the final problem came from Eurus, not Mycroft.

Oh hey, you want a fun fact? I stopped caring about this episode. I've been crying since 30 minutes into the ep, due to the frustration accumulated over 5 years. None of the things that still need resolving have been addressed yet and I've lost all hope that they will be. Only Eurus, the newest of those things.

Huh, I cared more about Redbeard when he was a dog.

Okay, I had more thoughts about this episode, but I couldn't get them out due to frustration. Let's see if I can get myself to rewatch this ep anytime soon and complete the review.
