It's day 4 of waiting for my Pottermore Welcome email. Those bastards really like to make us wait

. And I don't just mean those Welcome emails - no, they've made us wait since the day Pottermore has been announced.
I wonder in what kind of order these mails are getting sent out. I'm suspecting it's random. I had hoped it would be in chronological order of when someone registered. I managed to do that on the first day - wouldn't it suck if I had to wait until the last day of September and the next day everyone else could get into Pottermore? I mean, what would be the point of early access then?
So while I'm waiting I'm entertaining myself by searching Twitter for 'Pottermore'. Makes waiting easier when you see that lots of people haven't received their mail yet either.
I wish I could spend my time more productively, but I'm stuck in a lazy phase again and can't get shit done (at least nothing I'm happy with). Argh.
I bet out of anticipation lots of people are probably distracted from whatever they should be doing. The Pottermore Powers That Be should just tell us when to expect our Welcome email (something more specific than "between mid-August and the end of September"), like they did with the Magical Quill clues. Waiting is so much easier when you know until when you have to wait.
Although... maybe they don't know when they'll send the next batch. They seem to have server problems, so maybe they'll try and fix that before letting more people in.
But why the fuck would they have server problems already?! Shouldn't they know what to expect? They wouldn't start the betaphase on a less powerful server and only change to a better one later... or would they?
Ha, that's actually a good thing for me. Because what does it matter if I have my Welcome email if the site is down anyway. Positive thinking, I has is!
Also: I realized that no mail at all is worse than getting the 'wrong' mails. To see that I have mail doesn't get my hopes up that it's from Pottermore. At least not as much anymore. If I get notifications it means that someone replied - conversations are good distraction.
