All I know is that I know nothing

First day of classes! Wow. I'm overwhelmed, but in a very good way. First of all, have I mentioned that campus is beautiful? I think I've said that a hundred times since I've been here. It's like walking through a forest scattered with academic buildings and grassy areas. I still can't get over how large it is- there are two (2) libraries, two student centers, a ton of places to eat, a dentist, hairdresser, travel agent, bank, bar, fitness center... and I haven't gotten lost yet!
Anyway-- about my classes-- wow again. Lecture halls everywhere. There are multiple lecturers for each class. Microphones so people can hear. You'll never guess how many people are in my Australian history class ................. 600 (!!!) Six hundred.. Darn- that's half of Goucher! The hall even has a balcony section. Well- it IS the largest Australian history class in all of Australia, ergo the world. My smallest lecture is held in a room about the size of Kelly Lecture Hall (the only lecture hall at Goucher). There are tutorials/labs, which only have 18 students in them, so that's nice. The weird thing about all of this is that, even though it's so different from what I'm used to, it doesn't seem uncomfortable- it's pretty exciting. Hell yeah, I've finally escaped the Goucher bubble! Hahaha.
Well folks, although I miss you, I'm having a great time here so far. Unfortunately, 100% fun and games has ended, and I DO have some work to finish. See ya.
