efuckingzhausted
i am efuckingzhausted. james and i went to the midnight premiere of goblet of fire last night (you know i had to), and didn't get home until after three am. seeing as i had to be at work at five this morning, i just stayed up and took a shower. i'm exhausted, or did i already mention that? i can't wait to go home and slip into bed and gorge on veronica mars. oh, it's going to be wonderful. i think season one on dvd is quite possibly one of the best gifts i've ever gotten, period. WONDERFUL!
so goblet of fire was pretty awesome. if i'd made the movie, i would have stayed closer to the book, but i can appreciate why they did things the way they did. i'm a big fan. there seemed to be a whole lot of sexual tension in that movie, too! i also like how ron's on-screen character has changed some. so rebellious! so sexy! i must say, though i love harry, i didn't feel extremely sympathetic towards him. neville really tugged at my heartstrings, though. i had tears running down my face in a few scenes. what a sweetheart! i really wished they'd shown the veelas at the quidditch cup, but i guess they (kind of not really) made up for it with the beauxbatons crew singing and being girls only (it's canon for both durmstrang and beauxbatons to be co-ed). and i liked the way they did krum a lot more than i thought i would. i really wish they'd played up hermione's makeover more in the movie (in the book, even draco's checking her out), but i guess that's why they gave her a pink dress instead of a blue dress robe . . .
so this week i have gotten a massage, started working out, gotten a pedicure/manicure, started making a conscious effort to dress cuter, and i have a very much needed hair appointment for tomorrow (thank jesus!). hopefully i'll be able to get my eyebrows threaded sometime soon. today i started my three-day fast. the objective is to lose water weight and to detoxify my system. we'll see how this goes. the juice i'm supposed to drink is already turning me off with its bitter citrus flavor. i'm all about citrus, but lemon juice? yikes!
