SNAKE!!!
This afternoon as was I was taking a little nap before my next appointment, I heard a rustling down by the foot of my bed. Without putting my glasses on, I crawled toward it and peered down over the edge and saw an empty water bottle slowing sinking into a pile of clothes. As I wondered how that was happening, I noticed a black clothes hanger getting pushed upward in the corner. (Okay, my room is kinda messy..) I think to myself "What the hell?" and grab my glasses from the nightstand. Expecting to find a lizard or maybe a mouse or something, I look over where I saw the clothes hanger moving, and realize it's not a clothes hanger... it's a fucking snake!
I'm home by myself, but I actually say out-loud "OH MY GOD, IT'S A SNAKE!"
A snake, in my bedroom, on a 2nd floor apartment. What the fuck do I do???
Thankfully Matt was my hero and was already on his way home from work, and when I call him it turns out that he's pulling up into our street just then. I continued to be a squirmy little girl all freaked out, so after I point out where the snake has moved to he sends me out to the store to distract me. By the time I get back he managed to get the snake into a box and set it free outside.
I am still just so shocked about the whole thing I had to share it with others. The total and utter surprise upon discovering a snake in your 2nd story room is something work mentioning I think.
