Hello, there.

Hello.

You're looking well.

Thank you.

You look... good.

You really think so? I'll tell you, I figured all that Scandinavian food was going straight to my hips. Lutefisk is good, I guess, but it's certainly not low-fat.

HAH...

You know, you're insane. I think I'd forgotten how much I liked that.

Au contraire. I'm perfectly sane. It's the rest of creation that's nuts. Have you seen what passes for hats these days?

Savages.

It's not quite as bad as... are you sure you're not behind reality television?

...Not all of them?

oldestbeloved January 18 2006, 02:38:44 UTC
Just most of them. I see how you are.

How have you been? Apart from sick of Lutefisk.

I don't think anyone wants to claim responsibility for Wife Swap.

Life rolls on. Which is why I'm here. Would like to stop it from rolling, if you know what I mean.

And yourself?

I can't see why anyone would. I hear Martha's Apprentice is something of an embarrassment, too.

I remember.

Things have changed. Probably a lot from what you remember.

Eew. We're not even going to discuss that fiasco.

Things have a way of doing that. It's probably for the best, anyway. You were miserable the last time around.

Heh. Right, then.

You weren't too well off yourself. Comparatively ... speaking. Eh, never mind.

Reply

fuckingdemon January 18 2006, 03:16:21 UTC
Excellent. We will never speak of it again.

Yeah, well. A year in North Dakota and everything else seems to pale in comparison. I'm just glad to be out of there.

So, tell me. How's the family?

A good tactical nuke might solve the problem.

Hectic, as usual. But good.

... have you been keeping an eye on me?

I do like the way you think.

Good to hear. I always liked the little red-headed one.

Afraid not, m'boy. Part of my sentence--no contact with anyone but the scintillating residents of Anamoose. Yawn. On the plus side, I did manage to get friendly with a bear. Grumpy sometimes, but we all have our faults.
