Very wise to reset your inner clock that way. I've always been a night owl even when I worked full time and it's not good for one's metabolism much less one's mental state. I've forced myself into a reasonable schedule since I don't work either but I think days are short, though!

Sleep well!

We are up at 5a.m. everyday. It is nice and quiet, and the day's events haven't infiltrated our minds. It's ME time. I was exercising then, but, we've noticed that if we do it in the early evening, we are promptly ready for bed by 9ish, get good rest, and are more refreshed during the day. But that's just us. And the exercise does continue even while we're sleeping.

Keep exercising that new knee of yours too so it doesn't start problems.

Clever way to reset your clock. 5am is the middle of the night for me. I used to stay up until 2am most night but I've gradually moved it back bit by bit and I'm in bed for midnight most nights now. I sleep for at least 8 hours recently, not sure why it's that long!

Hi, nice to meet you. Are you historically a day or a night person? If the latter, it may be hard to work against mother nature.
