Feeling very much better and more mobile, except that the blasted knee still won't bend properly, but the weather has been a bit depressing, and now I think I'm coming down with a cold. Bother.
One problem I have noticed is that, since it is autumn, with accompanying rain and wind, everywhere outside is covered with wet leaves, which makes walking with a crutch surprisingly treacherous. Still, getting out and wandering is making me feel much better.
I've begun assembling Christmas pudding ingredients again, and making up this year's list. I noticed that Waitrose have had the brilliant idea of selling all the ingredients for a single Christmas cake, weighed out, in a big box, so that you can just mix and bake the thing with minimal hassle. Don't know if that includes the icing and marzipan though.
