Cheered up a bit now

Nov 30, 2008 20:10

Actually, I composed that last entry this morning, and somehow didn't post it, but between then and now I perked up considerable, and actually got some things done. To wit, a huge basin of pudding mixture (to be cooked over the week), a large batch of washing, and a good bit of bedroom tidying.

I think it might have had something to do with a minor change in the supplements I take. This morning I noticed, in the heap of pills and so forth I take every day, that what I had thought were evening primrose oil capsules were actually cod liver oil. At least that explains the intermittent taste of fish. The cod liver is for my joints, but the evening primrose is for my moods. I originally took it for PMS, but does seem to have been useful with the dreaded menopause. Anyway, I took two actual evening primrose capsules with my breakfast, and seem to have cheered up. Maybe it was just psychological, but it certainly feels like an improvement.
