Dull, dark, and damp
The weekend weather was remarkably cold, dark and nasty, and I did my best to stay in as much as possible, but yesterday I had to slog over to Clapham for a birthday celebration, and didn't get home until a very wet and dreich 9 pm. Not really worth it for one small slice of cake and a glass of champagne. Today, I plan to stay in, work and sort the monstrous piles of paper on my desk (and everywhere else). If I can get all the papers off the living-room table before the light goes (at about 3 pm) I might be able to do some restoration work, too.
